Courtezan – Untitled

Two tracks make up this enjoyable release by Courtezan, an artist I had so far not heard about. Nice, laid back music that is pleasant to listen to. Hard to classify except maybe as ‘electronica’, the music is very melodic.

01-1994 2005 brings a repetitive but pleasant melodic track with simple rhythms and a nice bass line. Very much ‘easy listening electronica’. A track that makes you feel good.

Dauphin is slightly lighter in it’s rhythmic department, with more focus on percussion sounds and less on the bass. The melodies also have a lighter feel to it. The melodies seem to bring up images of video games to me. Dauphin is, in my opinion, definitely superior over 01-1994 2005. It’s an uplifting, light track that might be slightly less accessible than 01-1994 2005 but has so much more power to it.

Both tracks are definitely worth your bandwidth!
